Veteran Malayalam actress Jayabharathi received her first shot of COVID-19 vaccine recently. It was the actress' nephew Munna Simon who revelead the news through his social media handle. Jayabharathi, who lives in Chennai, took the vaccine from a private hospital in the city.

Jayabharathi is one of the veteran actors in south indian cinema. She was one of the leading heroines in Malayalam and have acted alongside almost all top biggies down the south.
