Official! Thalapathy Vijay's 'Vaarasudu' release date changed - Deets inside

Earlier, it was officially announced that the Thalapathy Vijay starrer 'Varisu' will have a grand release on January 11 ahead of Pongal. Meanwhile, we already reported to you that there are uncertainties regarding the release of the Varisu Telugu version, 'Vaarasudu'.

Today, the film's producer Dil Raju broke that Vaarasudu is postponed to January 14 during the press meet in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, the Tamil version, Varisu, will hit the screens worldwide on January 11 as per the plans. Dil Raju clarified that the delay in the Telugu release is because the team wants to give priority to the Telugu star films releasing on Pongal.

It is worth mentioning that Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Veera Simha Reddy' will release on January 12 and Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Waltair Veerayya' will release on January 13. On the other hand, Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu (Hindi version) will have a theatrical release on January 13, which was revealed in the Hindi trailer.

Varisu star cast comprises Rashmika, Prakash Raj, Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, Shaam, VTV Ganesh, SJ Suryah, Sathish, Sriman, Srikanth, Ganesh Venkatraman, Khushbu, Jayasudha, Sangeetha, Samyuktha and many others in key roles. Thaman scored the music for the movie while Karthik Palani handled the cinematography and Praveen KL did the editing.
