The title of director Suseenthiran's next film was announced as 'Maveeran Kittu' yesterday, there were speculations doing rounds that the film will be based on the struggle for the liberation of Eelam Tamils in Sri Lanka.

However Suseenthiran has promptly clarified that the film has nothing to do with Eelam struggle. It is a period film set in 1980s and it is about a warrior who struggled for to uphold the rights of Tamil people in this land.

The film stars Vishnu Vishal and Sridivya in lead roles while Parthiepan and Soori are acting in important supporting character.

D.Imman is rendering the musical score with Yugabharathi's lyrics for the songs. Surya will be handling the cinematography. Mu.Kasiviswanathan is taking care of Editing while Shekar is entrusted with Art direction. Shobi will be choreographing the dance sequences. The film is being produced by Eshwar Kandasamy, D.N.Thai Saravanan and Rajeevan.

'Maveeran Kittu' has been launched with a formal pooja held today.
