Finally, the speculations and guessing games over the question of who will get to direct Ilayathalapathi Vijay in his all important 60th film has come to an end.

It has been officially confirmed that Bharathan will be the director of 'Vijay 60'. The director of 'Azhagiya Tamizh Magan', Vijay's first dual role film will direct the star for the second time in this yet to be titled film to be produced by the prestigious Vijaya Productions banner.

This will be the first film for Vijay with Vijaya Productions the banner which has been producing films since the black and white era.

The heroine, cast and crew details are expected to be revealed soon.

Vijay is presently busy shooting for 'Vijay 59' directed by Atlee. The team is expected to move to Goa for the next schedule of shoot and the film will be hitting the screens in Summer 2016.
