Since Early morning today. the Police have started applying for to remove the unrelenting Jallikattu protesters from Chennai Marina and various other locations across Tamil Nadu.

In Chennai when the protesters were forcefully removed from the place they were sitting. all of them went near the sea shore.

People from other parts of Chennai were ushered into reach Marina to support the protesters but the Police have blocked all the roads leading to Marina.

Youngsters tried to break the barricades and move ahead towards Marna were driven away by Police by lathi-charge.

Situation remains tense in Chennai Marina. The police want the protesters to leave the place immediately as the ordinance to conduct Jallikattu has been successfully promulgated and it will be passed as an act in the State Assembly today.

But the protesters are not ready to leave until the Act is passed.

In many other parts of Tamil Nadu, the pro-Jallikattu protests have been withdrawn. In Madurai talks are going on between the protesters and the police. In Coimbatore the protesters refused to move out forcing the police to arrest them all.
