Actor Suriya's much expected 'S3' which was scheduled to hit the screens on December 23 as a Christmas treat has been postponed. The news about the postponement of the release has been doing the rounds since early this morning and the film's lead actor Suriya has just confirmed the same.

Suriya in his tweet has said that the release of 'S3' has been postponed due to "Several external factors beyond our control".

The new release date is yet to be locked it seems. We hope it is done and announced soon. Ever Suriya fan will be waiting with bated breath to know whether the film will release at least on December 30, the last Friday of the year 2016.

'S3' is the third part of the blockbuster 'Singam' series directed by Hari. The film stars Anushka and Shruti Haasan as the female leads and a host of supporting actors retained from the first part as well as some new additions such as Soori, Radhika Sarathkumar, Robo Shankar, Krish and Chaams. Harris Jayaraj has rendered the music score. Priyan has worked on the cinematography. The film has been produced by K.E.Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green banner.

This the second postponement for 'S3' theatrical release. The makers had well in advance announced that the film will be hitting the screens on December 16. A few weeks ago it was postponed to December 23 and now comes another postponement.
