Rajinikanth threatened for 1 crore rupees

Even as the world waits for Superstar Rajinikanth to come back home on the 3rd of July from the US, a Farmer`s association has demanded him to pay the 1Crore rupees he had promised earlier for the interlinking of rivers in India.
One Swamikannu, the president of the National South Indian Rivers Interlinking Farmer`s Association has threatened that if Rajinikanth fails to pay the sum within one month a protest will be staged in front of his house. It may be recalled that the Superstar was one of the first voices for the Central Government to take steps to interlink the major rivers and had promised 1 Crore if a scheme came into force. Swamikannu claims that Modi and Jayalalitha are now moving towards a positive step for the interlinking at is high time Rajini kept his promise.
