Call it a prized catch. Sun Pictures, which has won a name for itself presenting quality entertainers from Kadhalil Vizhunthein till Padikathavan, will be proudly presenting Suriya starrer Ayan, churned out by AVM Productions. Considered one of the sought-after films to hit the screens this year, Ayan features Suriya, Tammana and Mumbai actor Akashdeep Saigal among others in the lead role.

According to reports, Hansraj Saxena, Chief Operating Officer, Sun Pictures had played a crucial role in clinching the deal.

It may be recalled that Saxena while speaking at the launch of the Sun Pictures recently had stated that they (Sun Pictures) would be marketing, distributing and co-producing good quality films. In living up to his words, he has acquired Ayan for Sun Pictures.

All kudos for him and Sun Pictures for their association with a production house (AVM), which has been serving the filmdom for over six decades.

The movie is directed by cinematographer – director K V Anand, who made an impression with his earlier venture Kana Kandein. According to him, 'Ayan is a commercial film handled with logic. Harris Jayaraj's musical score is a strong point'. A major portion of the movie was shot in countries like Tanzania, Botswana and Nambia.

A soft launch of the movie's audio would take place tomorrow (Monday). We at Indiaglitz congratulate Sun Pictures for accomplishing their mission in identifying and promoting quality entertainers.
