Director Shankar is known for richness and grandeur in his movies.

For his Anniyan, starring Vikram that is under-production, a scene was shot at Prasad Studios with over 100 buffaloes and hundreds of snakes.

Buffaloes were transported from Vellore exclusively for the scene and it was shot for nearly three days.
