'Yuva Samrat' Naga Chaitanya is elated with the response for 'Dohchay', which has hit the screens recently. He spoke about the response for the movie, his team, his upcoming films etc in an interview with Indiaglitz.

Like those films

I like con entertainers and I always wanted to do such films. But I felt that such a film would not work out at the start of my career and so didn't do it previously. After watching 'Swamy Ra Ra', I liked Sudheer Varma's direction and asked him to prepare a good script. Sudheer Varma's strength is this crime comedy genre and I can't ask him to prepare a good love story. When he approached me with this subject, I liked it and it is how 'Dohchay' started.

They are enjoying

The response for 'Dohchay' is very good. Audiences are enjoying the film, especially the hilarious last half an hour. I got good compliments for my acting in the film and I am very happy about it. I can't differentiate between mass and class films. But I heard that even A centre audiences are enjoying this film very much.

Very good working experience

Sudheer Varma directed the film very well and I enjoyed working with him. Kriti Sanon is a very good actress. After watching '1 Nenokkadine', Sudheer and I met her and we did a test shoot. We felt that she is the right choice for the role of Meera and roped in her. We had a very good working experience together.

Enjoyed bike riding

I like bike riding and so I enjoyed those sequences in 'Dohchay' very much. If any director approaches me with a good script, I am ready to do a full pledged film based on racing. The response for my short film for Red Bull is overwhelming. I didn't expect such a response.

Good scope for dances

There is a good scope for dances in this film, unlike my previous two to three films. There is also a good scope for item song in this movie. So I worked hard for dances in this film.

My father inspired me

My father is definitely the inspiration behind working with new directors. There are many talented directors, who has fire to do good films. Even there are many short filmmakers who has a very good talent. So I encourage new directors and I will do it even in future.

No cameo in Akhil's film

Rumours that I am doing a cameo in Akhil's film are baseless. If any director approaches us with a perfect script like 'Manam', I am ready to do a multistarrer with Akhil.

Take it positively

I take criticism positively and I keep trying to develop as an actor. I learn everything with my every film. If we stop learn learning, we would stop growing as an actor.

Upcoming films

I will do a film with 'Karthikeya' fame Chandoo Mondeti. I can't reveal much about the film as it is still in scripting stage. A film with Gautham Menon is in discussion stages and I will reveal about it soon.
