The second film of journalist turned director Raghuraj in 50 days time to release (earlier was `Boss') - Rama Rama Raghu Rama' is inspired by a quite a few movies is good in bits and pieces.
The famous comedy and character artist Rangayana Raghu image has not been properly used and the actor also commits the mistake what he had done in `Aithalakkadi' with Bullet Prakash. For actors like Rangayana Raghu it should be a full length comedy but not the one like this. Putting the actor in inconvenient spot, make him to cry, run around the girls are not his cup of tea.
The story line is also very thin and not logically correct for the position of the protagonist in the film. As a constable falling to the fear of his brother in law to get Rs.25 lakhs is not the one expected. Director Raghuraj who claimed very high about this film definitely needs to be corrected. The narration style very unique he disclosed is absolutely ordinary.
A constable with honesty and humanity Raghurama (Rangayana Raghu) is in need of Rs.25 lakhs that he has to give as dowry for his brother in law as his sister has been sent back home. Raghurama has some more problems from his brother and sister in law who are after money. At the interval point Raghurama is with an idea. Ending life on duty would fetch Rs.25 lakhs to his family. He makes series of attempts but all the time something good is happening. He is regarded in highest esteem by senior colleagues in the department. How Raghurama solves his single agenda in life is the climax of the film.
Rangayana Raghu has the perfect timing, emotions are good and delivery of dialogue is tremendous. But no one can see him dance with beach girls and heroine Lakshmi Sharama. As a senior actor he could have avoided all such minus points. Shobaraj, Doddanna and Sadhu Kokila are OK. Lakshmi Sharma has no scope.
No song is worth hearing again from No.1 music director V Harikrishna. Cinematographer Krishnakumar is not at fault but it is the screening via satellite is at fault.
Score 5/10
