Not long ago, Rambha was the number one in Tamil and Telugu. But time has flown dramatically after that.

Much has happened in Rambha's career after that. She is no longer the top heroine she was. Still, Rambha manages to evoke a certain amount of expectation.

Neeku Naaku, starring her in the lead, certainly does. Neeku Naaku is a film of many parts --- love, action and sentiments are certainly in it.

Directed by Selvendran, who had been an assistant to Shankar for many years, the movie has all the ingredients to attract most cinemagoers.

Selvendran, having learnt the nuances from Shankar, knows how to tell an interesting tale in an
interesting manner.

Sai Rathnam has produced the film under Sarva Sai Films banner. Of course, Rambha is the highlight attraction of the movie. But she alone isn't the main calling card. There is Sharath, Lakshmi Roy to provide the leads.

The producer says,'The movie is a love story with a difference. Rambha's role will attract all,' he adds.

Rambha herself likens her character to the ones played by Jayapradha or Jayasudha in many films of yore.

Sharath says that he was inspired by Rambha's performance and given his best.

Selvendran said the concept of the film was unique. It is a young and fresh love story.

Bharani has scored the music. The film will release in November.
