Kamal writer's son commands a huge price in IPL auction

Today the IPL auctions took place and many big names like Shane Watson, Yuvaraj Singh and Pawan Negi were bought for astronomical prices. One little known face is M. Ashwin the quality Tamil Nadu spinner whose price shot up and was bagged by Pune for Rs. 4.5 Crores.

Ashwin is the son of eminent Tamil literary writer E.R. Murugan, who also collaborated with Kamal Haasan for the screenplay –dialogues for Unnai Pol Oruvan`.
