As is well-known, Mahesh Babu has been a real-life Srimanthudu with respect to his adopted villages of Burripalem in Andhra Pradesh and Siddhapuram in Telangana. Namrata Shirodkar, his wife, recently called on Jupally Krishna Rao, the Panchayat Raj Minister, in her efforts to complement her husband's aim to turning Siddhapuram into a smart village.

The news is that Mahesh has donated Rs. 30 lacs for constructing a school in the said village. Namrata herself has presented the cheque to Raghunandan Rao, the District Collector.

A comprehensive plan has been prepared to improve the living standards in the aforementioned villages. This gesture from the superstar is highly commendable. Prakash Raj, his colleague, is another celeb who is selflessly working for the well-being of Kondareddipalle village in Mahabubnagar district.
