As reported by us earlier, Thala Ajith's 'AK 57' will have the presence of one of the most talented character and comedy artist of recent years. Actor Karunakaran has just confirmed that he is acting in the yet to be titled International spy thriller film directed by Siva with Ajith and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles. The film is being produced by Sathya Jyothi Films banner.

Karunakaran who entered film industry through the short film route, has carved a niche for himself as a character artist who can also make us laugh out loud with natural comedy. He has been acting in small budget films with newcomers as well as medium or high budget films with leading young heroes.

With director Radha Mohan's 'Uppu Karuvadu' he elevated to the lead role and despite that film being a commercial hit, he does not restrict himself to hero roles.

Acting in a Ajith film will be a big leap in Karunakaran's career and his inclusion in the star cast will certainly add more attraction to 'AK 57'. Karunakaran has earlier acted with Superstar Rajinikanth in 'Lingaa'.
