'Jigarthanda' success increases number of screenings in USA

Director Karthik Subbaraj`s recently released Jigarthanda` starring Siddharth took off very well, impressing both audience and critics. Interestingly the film simultaneously grabbed good response overseas as well.
As per our reports, following a successful first week run, Jigarthanda` is not only running strong in 17 locations in USA but also opened in 11 new locations! IndiaGlitz sources stated that the audience are enjoying the movie and in various shows across USA the movie has received standing ovation and thunderous response. Enjoying a great word of mouth, Jigarthanda` has been running house full shows and packed audience.
As a matter of fact, it is observed that after a very long time this movie is seeing repeat audience in USA and people are coming to watch it second time. It The movie has collected gross $120,000 in first week in USA and is expected to touch $200,000 K this week. By any yardstick this is a phenomenon and cult movie in USA.
