Having been popular face of television, Indraneel Bhattacharya couldn't ask for more when opportunity knocked on his door - to play a co-star to the Superstar of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. The 'Sasural Genda Phool' famed actor is quite happy with the success of their recent release 'Fan', in which he plays Shah Rukh's lawyer. The experience working with the King Khan is something which Indraneel will cherish for life time. IndiaGlitz got close and candid with this talented actor, who not only shared about his learning process while working in Prakash Jha's 'Jai Gangaajal' but also with Akshay Kumar in the forthcoming film 'Rustom'. Excerpts from the interview...

Q. From TV Serials to sharing screen with King Khan in 'Fan'... How has been the journey so far?

A. It's like starting out at the Everest base camp and then finally reaching the summit.

Q. How was it working with Shah Rukh Khan? Share your experience.

A. It was a FANtastic opportunity. Met him for the 1st time on the 3rd of Dec, 2014 at exactly 7.15pm for the police station scene. Need I say more. Was, Am and Will Always remain a FAN.

Q. On working for the movie 'Fan'.

A. Working on FAN was like going to University and getting my Ph.D. Maneesh was a friend who walked every step with me and Adi Chopra made sure that every need and even want was taken care of.

Q. Difference between working for small screen and big screen.

A. Time and money. Films have more time and more budgets. Hence more time to prepare. But TV teaches you to work fast, yet work well. That really helped me while shooting for FAN, Jai Gangaajal and Rustom.

Q. How was it working under Prakash Jha in 'Jai Gangaajal'?

A. Great film makers don't make people work under them, they make people work WITH them. The same goes forBhaiji ( as everyone lovingly calls Prakashji ). He knew exactly what he wanted and was very happy with what he got out from me.

Q. Share with us about your next movie 'Rustom'.

A. I obviously cannot reveal anything about RUSTOM yet, including my part. But knowing it is from the house of Neeraj Pandey, you can expect something extraordinary and brilliant. But one thing I can say for sure. We all can soon easily expect a name to shine bright. That of Tinu Suresh Desai, our director.

Q. On working with Akshay Kumar?

A. Please allow me to give this answer in Hindi. Arrey bhai, The Ultimate Khiladi se saath khel khelne ka maukamila, aur kya chahiye.

Q. Which one do you prefer - working in commercial movie or content-oriented film?

A. Actually I want to eat the cake and have it too (winks).

Q. About your dream role.

A. Any role that will let me play good, bad, and ugly all together.

Q. One actress you would love to share the screen space with??

A. Please help me here. Should I go in alphabetical order or in order of seniority ? But first I'll have to figure out if there are any actresses at all who I wouldn't want to work with.
