The action star Gopichand is going to hit the big screen on the 28th of July with Gautham Nanda and we sat down with him for a little interview.
We asked him a lot of questions about his upcoming flick, his future projects, his hiatus and his personal life. But one thing that hit close to the industry was his current opinion on the whole drugs-scandal\case.
Apparently, he doesn`t support those who think that drugs are away out of life`s pressures and stresses.
He states “I don`t think that one has to rely on harmful drugs in order to maintain their peace of mind. You could read a book, exercise, go out for a walk and just about anything but that. What you can do is just talk about it with people. You don`t have to fight it on your own at all times. It`s something I have learned”.
He continues “I have heard that some school kids too were involved with the drugs too, which is quite hurtful and embarrassing, to begin with. Just one kid`s “let`s try” can cause the whole school to slip into this puddle of addiction. The families have to suffer too.”
“Addiction at the end of the day, no matter how you name it, is a sign of weakness and it is a weakness that will end you with your own destructive behavior” he concludes.
Stay away from drugs folks. It`s not cool or legal.
