Directed by Sreenu Vaitla and produced by Gopinath Achanta, Ram Achanta and Anil Sunkara on the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment, 'Dookudu' with Maheshbabu and Samanta in the lead is presently shooting at a private flat in Somajiguda of Hyderabad.

The director is shooting some key scenes involving Mahesh Babu, Brahmanandam, MS Narayana and Supreet. It is worth mentioning here that the shooting of the film continues at various places in and around Hyderabad in the recent past.

Thaman is scoring music for the movie, and the audio is most likely to be launched by the end of July or in the first half of August.

The story of the film was penned by Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan. The producers are making efforts to release the film in August.
