Playing the role of a retired boxer turned coach in Irrudhi Suttru which is also being shot in Hindi as Saala Khadoos, the versatile actor was injured on the sets of the movie yesterday. The movie is a bilingual and is directed by Sudha Kongara who happens to be a former associate of renounced director Mani Ratnam.

Madhavan has trimmed and toned his body to suit the role of a boxer; the actor underwent rigorous training in the states and is quite expecting this movie to mark his comeback. Tweeting in his micro blogging site, Maddy expressed the unfortunate injury happened on the sets, but is even more frustrated that the shooting had to be stalled because of this injury. The entire movie itself is expected to be wrapped in less than a week.
