If you are wondering if this is a remake of the original film ‘Maaveeran’ which starred Rajinikanth in the lead, you are grossly mistaken. This 2011 version is the dubbed version of one of the most popular films in Telugu titled ‘Magadheera’ that saw Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal essaying the lead roles. It is reported that by the 100th day this movie grossed a whooping hundred crore rupees in collections.

The Telugu version was released by Geetha Arts. The dubbed Tamil version will be released by Red Giant Movies in Tamil Nadu during the first week of May.

The film is based on reincarnation and the idea that the soul will take a new form to avenge for the wrong doings of the evil minded. Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal received very good reviews for their acting skills in this film. ‘Magadheera’ will also be dubbed in Malayalam and released in Kerala as ‘Dheera.’

We hope the dubbed versions are accepted with open hearts in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. We will bring you more updates when this film will be released and how it fares post release.
