The first schedule of ‘Dookudu’ directed by Sreenu Vaitla and produced by Anil Sunkara, Gopinath Achanta and Ram Achanta on the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment with Maheshbabu and Samantha in the lead was completed at Istanbul in Turkey and the unit returned to India.

The film is being made a romantice entertainer with action backdrop. The second schedule of the film was planned in Dubai. The film unit faced a tough task in continuing their shooting due to an emergency situation and the heroine had survived a bomb attack miraculously.

Thaman is scoring music for the flick and the film unit is leaving for Dubai to continue its second schedule.

Sources from the film unit say that Maheshbabu is keen to make the film a big hit, in the wake of a disaster like ‘Khaleja’ recently.
